Mourne Seven Sevens Challenge

Take on seven of the highest peaks in the Mournes with a group of around 15 people, raising funds for 3Eighteen’s work in Zambia.

A big day in the mountains

  • Distance: around 23 km

  • Ascent: 2,153 m on the planned route

  • Time on the hills: roughly 12 hours

  • Guides: experienced mountain guides from Mourne Mountain Adventures

We’ll hike Slieve Binnian, Slieve Lamagan, Slieve Donard, Slieve Commedagh, Slieve Bearnagh, Slieve Meelmore and Slieve Meelbeg. Expect some steep and challenging terrain.

Start time and meeting point are still to be confirmed. We expect an early start, around 6am, likely at Carrick Little car park.

£15,000 between us

We’ll have a shared JustGiving page, with everyone taking part helping towards our £15,000 group target for 3Eighteen. We’ll share the fundraising link when it’s ready.
